2. Book a free try-on

Try-ons are by appointment in Halswell and are free for up to 45 minutes.

How much is dress hire in Christchurch?

Every dress shows its hire price. Most of our formal dresses hire for under $100, and many are under $50.

Can I try a dress on before I hire it?

Yes. Try-ons are by appointment at 11 Sentinel Place, Halswell, and are free for up to 45 minutes. After 45 minutes a $50 fee applies, which you can put towards your dress hire or use as store credit.

How long can I keep a hire dress?

Pick up any time during the week of your event by arrangement, then return the dress within three days of the event. A late fee of $10 per day applies unless you have arranged otherwise in advance.

Do I need to wash the dress before I return it?

No. Dresses must be returned without washing.

Is there a bond for dress hire?

A bond may be required if the dress is new, of significant value, or if you are a first-time renter.

Do you deliver hire dresses outside Christchurch?

Yes, we deliver within New Zealand. Return postage or delivery is at the renter's expense.

When are you open?

Hours are by appointment: Monday 10am to 7pm, Wednesday 10am to 5pm, Thursday 10am to 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday 11am to 2pm. After hours by arrangement.
